Default New Best Times, Special Thanks To A&A Corvette

Went to the private track rental today at California "Sloway",
04 Z06
408 Stroker
3:42
MN6 Transmission
150 shot (real conservative tune)
i ran a 10.221 @ 137.1
1.563 60 ft.
after this they kicked me off because i went over 135, because i only a 5 point cage and no NHRA License. damn i wanted to put the 200 jets in.

i dont have a scanner i would post the timeslip.
people are telling me if i was at Famoso raceway i would have ran
10.0-9.9 at a little more mph.

would like to say thank you to
A&A Corvette
Charlie @ A&A corvette for a dead nuts tune
90droptopp for letting me borrow his ccw's and helping me out on my launch

I see you made it out to the track rental. Was the problem you were having at Charlies the head gasket or something else.Obviously you got it fixed on Sat.Why not put in the 200 shot as per the dyno run so you possibly could have gotten into the easy 9's.tmister

nice. that's rowin some f'n gears. rock on man.

your MPH is borderline at 137 for a 9 second pass in an M6 car. squeek a coupel more MPH at most and you'll see 9's with the right 60 foot.

yeah i think a famoso which is dragway which is in california, that alot of other people race at, i could have been real close to 9's, california speedway is well known for its slow times and low mph, track prep i think could have been alittle better yesterday

Awesome runs ryne.

Now you are going to scare everyone away and nobody is going to race you.

Did you ever get the directions to the meeting this saturday the 21st? It looks like we are going to have over 20 plus cars now. Let me know if you are going.
