Default Any SEMA news for the LS1tech community??

I'm guessing there are at least a few people from this board at the SEMA show and was wondering what the latest buzz around LS1's were. I'm guessing it's still the platform of choice for aftermarket companies and was wondering what was new and exciting.

I did a search for 2007 SEMA but it wasn't very succesful.

Thanks.

p.s. I already saw the thread about the new 90mm intake from weiand that's going to compete with the fast, but anything else new and exciting?

The LSX tall deck and LS3 were on hand at the GM booth.

This was my "odds and ends" at SEMA. Nothing earthshaking though.

there is a new dry N2O kit coming out that is trick, as well a new weiand intake that flows even with the fast 90 till past 7000k.

The intake says it made 30+ hp over the ls6 intake. and will be priced around 600.

thats pretty big news for me. As I will be getting both.

What I saw while at SEMA:

Weiand one-piece composite intake, $650, available in black and chrome silver. Also available in cathedral port and rectangle port.

Edelbrock water pump. 15% more flow than stock, not electric.

Comp Cams 918 springs, new revised design, even better.

APS F-Body, GTO, C5, C6 and C6Z turbo kits. Talk about bonerville.

I think I read on here that the intake is suppose to come out in march. I already bought an ls6, buts its really tempting to try and wait for spring for that intake.

Because of my contacts, I was told I might get an early production one, which I would try on the website Camaro. That car has an OEM 90mm LS2 intake on there now, and they were saying that their new intake would be better so I'm all for dynoing it and trying it.
