If you plan on parking your car and walking around, bring some comfortable shoes. This is by far the best cruise I've ever been to. You can stand in the same spot for hours and never see the same car twice. It's amazing the amount of cars and people that will be there. hopefully the weather will hold out again this yet. It will be my third time going.
I'll be there Thursday. I have been there Friday and Saturday and it's just crazy busy!! Thursday has a ton of cars, but you can still cruise 10-15mph. It truely is a blast and if you have an opportunity to go you should!!

Its only monday and its 11:30 and i can still hear cars right now. its nice being a few blocks off woodward. advice for new people, park your car a few blocks from woodward (where ever you can find a place) walk up and just watch its such a madhouse it took me 2 hours to go 2 miles last year.

any where from 15 to 13 mile is good thats where most of the vendors are. GM and ford are usualy in downtown birmingham which is between 14 and 15 mile. If you can find a spot in one of the parking garages in birmingham the first 2 hours of parking are free.
