1999 Trans Am For Sale -- H/C/I, Pewter Metallic, <<SOLD>>
Year: 1999
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $9000
Mileage: 110000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TN
Color: Silver
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
All modifications were professionally installed and I have a book with receipts and warranty information.
Modifications
-Patriot Stage 2 ported 243 heads
-224/230 Comp Cam with rods, springs, etc.
-Fast 90 intake and throttlebody
-1 3/4'' Texas Speed stainless longtube headers w/ 3'' Texas Speed X pipe and Magnaflow bullets dumped before axle
-Powerbond underdrive pulley
-Ford 32# injectors
-Whisper lid
-RPM Level 4 automatic transmission (rebuilt locally with warranty, less than 1k miles on the new transmission)
-Yank SS3600 stall converter (brand new)
-Moser 12 bolt rear end
-35 spline axles w/ extended lugs
-3.73 gears with spool
-Stock 16'' chrome wheels with BFG Comp 2 tires (less than 1k miles on new tires)
-KYB front shocks, Bilstein rear shocks
-Eibach lowering springs
-Tubular torque arm, panhard rod, rear lower control arms, strut-tower brace, subframe connectors
The bad: the hood will need to be repainted due to sun damage, chipped d/s mirror, low coolant light stays on (probably bad sensor) and ABS/TCS lights on due to rear end, power antenna stuck at half-mast, d/s window needs to be retinted. The computer also probably needs to be retuned. Front plate filler panel is cracked in the picture, but I have a new painted one on the way.

The car has a 160 degree thermostat but the gauge generally reads 210 while driving. As I understand it, the temp gauge on the early model ls1 cars is more like a dummy light than a proper gauge and will generally read 210 regardless of the actual temperature. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

That is correct. Mine reads 210 when warmed up. Plug in OBDII and so far stationary idle will only go up to 205; temp hasn't passed 196 while driving.

The mods were done by the previous owner at shops in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Sorry it took so long, it rained all weekend. You'll have to forgive the dirty engine bay -- will try to have it cleaned up this weekend when the weather is better
