The car dyno run at 511 RWHP and 522 RWTQ without using the NOS system.
I am listing below the parts and part numbers of all parts purchased. I am also including photos of all receipts I have from purchases and labor. I am also showing the Dyno results.
All modifications were performed and completed when the car had 61,750 miles. In other words, the car has run for 16K miles in its current state and no issues to report. All modifications were performed by Fame Automotive in Redmond, WA
So, on to the mods list:
Engine:
· 6.0L LS2 long block (Texas Speed & Performance TSP 402 C.I.D. LS2/L76)
· Texas Speed Forged 4340 Crankshaft
· Diamond Pistons 4.005" -10cc Dish (#112-11550R1)
· K1 6.125" H-Beam Rods, ARP 2000 Bolts
· ARP Main Stud Kit
· PRC 225cc As-Cast Aftermarket Heads, 68cc, PRC .650" Dual Spring Kit
· GM MLS .058" head gasket
· ARP 12-Point Head Stud Kit
· GM LS1/2 1.7:1 Rocker Arm Set with Comp Cams Upgraded Trunion Kit
· Crank pulley modified w/ pin and lock kit.
· New Idler Pulleys
· New Power Steering Pump
· New Serpentine Belt
· Vortech V-9 F Polished supercharger w/ after cooler (Serial #39856)
· Vortech maxflow Mondo bypass valve
· 8-rib SC pulley and belt for 8-10PSI (smaller pulley 3.12”)
· John Lingenfelter (Weiand) intake manifold
· K&N Air intake and filters
· N.O.S system and Purge injection installed
· 70 shot injector size
· High flow (quite) inline fuel pump installed
· Super Comp coated headers
· Bassani BX complete Exhaust system w/ X – dual rear split exit
· All necessary harness extensions for LS2 conversion / optional
conversion package that included the LS2 timing cover with camshaft
position sensor, LS2 valley cover, and plug-n-play harness extensions for
the camshaft position and knock sensor harnesses. (Required if you are
installing the engine into an LS1 vehicle)
· Tuned on Vortech/HP tuners software
Transmission / Rear End:
· Rebuilt transmission w/ improved hydraulics and 7 planetary gear set up
· B&M Shift Improver Kit for GM 4L60E transmission
. Moser complete 12 bolt rear end w/ True Trac Differential 3.73 – 1 gears,
. 3.75 carbon fiber driveshaft w/ U-joint, Carbon fiber driveshaft loop
Suspension:
Hardtop boxed sub frame connectors
· Hotchkis Sway bar end links
· Hotchkis Comp lower trailing arms rear
· BMR Fab Control arms front
· Hotchkis frame sliders and poly bushings
· KYB AGX 10 way adjustable struts front and rear
· Eibach lowering springs
Brakes:
1 piece cross drilled / slotted front brake rotors
Stainless Steel braided brake lines
This is without a doubt one of the best and well balanced 2001 Camaro you’ll find. It took some time, planning and a lot of money to get it there, it is now your chance to reap the benefits of it all.
