Darton MID sleeved LS block. Just completed at R.E.D. (Race Engine Development) Currently bore is at 4.155 with a finish hone required to 4.165 or larger. Steve has measured the sleeves and stated that these sleeves and block will be fine up to a 4.175 bore. Machining and Sleeves are over $2600.00 and does not include block price. I’m selling for $2300.00. With a 4.0 stroke crank you will be at 435-438 cubic inches.702-494-7139 Ken. Can ship on buyers dime.
I had someone ask me the story so here it is. I cracked the block through an oil channel by the filter housing when installing the transaxle with the wrong tools. Pulled motor and planned on putting these sleeves into another block. As I would have the smallest cubic inch motor in group my ego got the best of me and decided to go bigger. Longer stroke and bigger bore than these sleeves can handle. So, I now have two blocks. These sleeves are good for a 4.0 stroke. The block is a LS6 acquired from R.E.D. and with pressure channels is 20 hp. more than the LS1 block.
