Thanks for all the advice and good ideas....I'm going to call Hagerty's Monday to get a quote @ $18-20k. When we increased the insurance level from $40k to $60k on Bruce's Z/28 there wasn't that big of a jump in premiums as best as I can remember........so I don't think it will cost much more to go with a $20k level as compared to $18k......

Thanks RPM, the car has spent it's entire life in a heated garage....never been driven in the rain, alway had a towel over the seat....unless Bruce had a hot date...then the towels came off.....

^^^^this was it for me. My friend has a 69 SS Cortez silver and a 4th gen on blocks that was pewter. After seeing them I bought mine. I bought the exact car I wanted .so it's really what you're looking for.
