This is a brand new never installed Vengeance Racing VRSP2 cam, 227/235 .614/.621 115+4 – Also, I ordered this cam cut on a cam motion 8660 core which is a lot stronger than the 5150 cam cores that a lot of grinders use. This is a great street cam! It will work well for both NA and FI applications. Vengeance Racing says this about this cam: “This camshaft was designed with Gen IV square port applications in mind. The VRSP2 offers a noticeable lope at idle while offering excellent drivability characteristics Power/torque from 1800 to 6500 RPM - Tuning is required for optimal performance and dual valve springs are required.”
This cam will definitely work in an LS3 car as well as an LS2 car with LS3 heads and have NO issues with PTV clearance. I had this cam left over from an LS2 with LS3 heads FI project and I decided to go a different direction with car.
Here is a video of a 2010 Camaro with this cam installed: I need to sell this cam and I seem to have misplaced the cam card that came with this, but I’m gonna look again in my shop.
