Yea, if you want this to work on a truck you will need a different (longer) nose drive. Then, it would work. As for the J-tube, there is no J-tube included, however there was one for sale on PerfromanceTrucks a couple weeks ago that would fit a 78mm throttle body.

I believe it does have the correct nose for applications with a jackshaft (GTO, Corvette, F-body, SSR, CTS-V, etc) but I'm not 100% sure. It looks identical to the pictures I've seen.
