Up for sale is a 98-02 F-body 8-rib Procharger kit. The kit is currently on my car (so I would need a couple of days to find time to remove). The kit came on my car and I have done a couple of things since getting the car. I have put about 16,000 miles on the car with this kit and have been fortunate enough to have the stock shortblock hold up to it. This is a typical twin mount kit. I can take pictures of anything specific if needed.
My car dynoed at 475 rwhp (8lbs of boost at 5800) on a Mustang Dyno when I bought the car with a D1SC head unit. I changed over to a SDCE spring tensioner and dynoed at 566 rwhp (10.5 lbs of boost at 5800) on a Dynojet. Since then I have swapped over to the F1A head unit.
Kit Includes:
- Procharger F1A head unit. Bought new in April 2011. Approximately 3500 miles. Currently has a 5.25” head unit pulley on it. Makes 8.5lbs of boost at 5800.
- SDCE 8-rib Spring Tensioner kit (7.25” crank pulley). Includes installation tool.
- Polished Plenum Intake
- 3.5” dual intercoolers
- All Piping and clamps for the intercooler setup. I will keep all the hardware together that I pull off to allow for reinstallation.
- Procharger intake hat with upgraded 9” filter.
- Procharger Fan setup
- Pro-flow bypass valve.
- Spare NAPA 25080545 belt. Probably will need a different size depending on which pulley you run.
- Spare (3) 6oz and (2) 4oz bottles of Procharger oil.
- PDF Copies of the Procharger installation manual and SDCE installation manual
- Radiator sheetmetal hold down
- ATI balancer



Additional items needed to get running:
- Fuel System Components (injectors and Pump)
- Crank pinning kit
- Different pulley and belt
- Tune

I removed more parts tonight and did some thinking on the kit. I have had a lot of interest but most hesitation due to not including the required ATI balancer. I have decided to include this in the kit. I will also include the radiator hold down. I have also modified information about the price, shipping and fees. I can get pictures of the balancer and radiator sheetmetal hold down if interested.

Damaged Procharger D1SC Head Unit D1SC has been sold
- Would consider selling in the Procharger kit for a lower price to the kit. Feel free to PM offers with this head unit in the kit.
- Something must have gone through the impeller blades and chewed them up. The blower still makes boost as intended. There is typically a squeal (almost sounds like a belt squeal) associated with this. I originally though some idlers and other pulleys had bearings going out before finding this. I have no idea of the extend it would take to fix the blower. I would guess it should be a simple fix but I can’t guarantee that. This would be a good option for the fix it yourself individual to get a blower.

I am still holding out on selling individual parts at this point. Still trying to sell as much combined as possible. I will start pulling parts either this weekend or early next week. I will still want to keep the Procharger kit combined, but will go through my list of interested parties in the smaller parts listed.

I looked through some vendors sites to see what some of these costs are:

Total: $7673 for the kit that I am offering at $4800 plus shipping. There are a few components that are needed but can be found cheap.

If the the rest of the kit would sell, I would be willing to sell the head unit separately. I have also had local interest in just the F1A head unit as well.

For interested parties: feel free to make offers for the Procharger kit with no head unit or also the D1SC head unit in the kit instead of the F1A. Might be able to fix the D1 cheap (I am not sure if there is damage past the fins) and get into the kit cheaper than expected.

I have edited the first post with items that have been spoken for.

I had a couple interested parties in buying everything that was listed. That seemed like the easiest thing to do. If those fall through, I will be selling the items listed above to individual sellers. I have updated those items with This item has been spoken for.
