I've been looking at trans am and came across one i like but i want to know if the price is fair or not? I thought it was a little high considering it will need the hood repainted.

Nice looking car. I know down here in TX you can pick one up that might need some paint for about $5k-$7k with low miles and “babied”. The ad doesn’t show interior pictures. All depends on what you’re willing to pay and what others are asking for in your area.
I bought mine low miles, no paint needed but the passenger door needs to be fixed(fiberglass had a crack), really clean inside and out, stock for $3k.

Way over priced, plus he's only putting out a feeler i.e. waiting for a sucker to buy. I sold my 2000 WS6 with FAST 92, Nick Williams TB, headers, ORY, Magnaflow exhaust for like 7800 if I'm not mistaken. had maybe 15k more miles. What he is asking should not need the hood painted.

I agree on the hood. Find a car with better paint, there are plenty of them out there. Peeling clear coat on the hood is only common on cars that consistently sat out in the hot sun....it's not common to "all" these cars. If the hood has an issue, more than likely the sail panel is peeling too...another $1,000-$1,500 repair.
Have to wonder why after buying new wheels, new tires, and clutch that the guy is dumping the car? I'm alway leery about M6's being sold right after a clutch install. I wouldn't be so sure about them "babying it" either. One person's "babying" is the next guy's "abuse." 95K miles is easily in the range when transmission/synchro issues can start showing up.
