Default 2015-2016 Gen 5 LT4 6.2 ZO6 Long Block w/Supercharger

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $5200
Location (State): IN
Item Condition: Used
Engine: LT1/LT4
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

THE BELOW GEN 5 LT4 IS SOLD. I'VE HAD 3 OF THESE AND CAN GET MORE OF THEM. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU NEED.

2015-2016 Gen 5 LT4 Supercharged 6.2 ZO6 Long Block. This is the real deal, not a Gen 5 LT1, but an actual 650 hp supercharged ZO6 Corvette long block with heads. THIS LONG BLOCK PACKAGE INCLUDES SUPERCHARGER.

This motor has been completely disassembled for inspection. We found 2 spun rod bearings. The crankshaft has been turned .020/.010.

The supercharger is new in the box and includes a new in the box lid.

From what I have read, the LT4 is better than the LS3 in every single facet. 30% stronger block, better pistons, better crankshaft, higher flowing heads, better fuel system, and capable of supporting significantly more horsepower.

If you want to see an LT4 in action, go to YouTube and watch this video. They Were BORED with LS's! - NEW World Record!

http://www.thedrive.com/news/18608/d...etting-1400-hp

The mileage of this engine is unknown, but one look at it and it's very obvious that it's an extremely low mile motor. I prefer not to ship, but I will agree to meet you part way if that helps put a deal together. Not $13,000, Not $8,000, Not $6,400.00. Just $5,200.00. Please text me with questions 1-260-343-1292.

DESCRIPTION OF A NEW LT4 CRATE ENGINE

The Corvette Z06 supercharged LT4 6.2L SC is the most powerful engine ever offered in a regular production Chevrolet. It features a more-efficient, more-compact 1.7L Eaton R1740 TVS supercharger, which spins at up to 20,000 rpm. That's enough to generate more than 9 pounds of boost and help produce 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque.

The LT4 is based on the same Gen V Small-Block architecture as the LT1 engine, with several unique features designed to support its higher output and the greater cylinder pressures created by forced induction. They include Rotocast A356T6 aluminum cylinder heads that are stronger and handle heat better than conventional castings, lightweight titanium intake valves and stronger forged aluminum pistons.

As the ad says, this one is sold.

Of the three I've had, two had a spun bearing. One had a thrust bearing issue. Chances are the next one will have a similar issue. I provide good replacement parts with purchase. If an undamaged crank is not available, the crank will be turned.

well sure I'm just curious why low mileage motors are spinning bearings

As the seller, I agree, it's a steal. It's a long block. Long blocks don't come with fuel pumps or injectors. HPFP are $850.00. Injectors are something like $65.00 each.

GM sells tens of thousands of these motors. There is no way around it, a few are going to have issues.

Good questions. Every motor I sell is pretty much "completely disassmbled". "I provide good replacement parts with purchase." If a rod spun, a good rod will be provided. The same goes for all other damaged parts. "If an undamaged crank is not available, the crank will be turned."

I do my best to discribe my items so that no one will be surprised when they see the item for the first time. BTW, I have never had a buyer turn down a motor after seeing it for the first time. A lot of my buyers are people who were previously ripped off when they bought a pullout that was advertised as being a motor that, "ran great when pulled". The best story I've been told so far was the super clean LQ9 that had fresh paint and all. The buyer decided to pull the pan before installing only to find a big hole in the block that was filled with JB Weld and covered over with a really nice paint job. Buy mine and know exactly what you're getting before you load it up.

Yes. I have one now. It's a wet sump out of a ZL1. The supercharger is out of a Corvette, so it says Corvette on the lid.
