I've been away from the scene for some time, overseas. Poking around the internet today i saw some, apparently in mint conditon, GTOs put up for 6-7k...one for even 2.5k clean title, no accidents, looks brand new in pictures.

Generally they are around 10k for a decent stock one and around 20k for a built turbo or supercharged one.

In addition to condition and miles, whether there have been any mods and how far from stock condition the car is will make a sizable difference. Stock 04-06's are getting hard to find, so the price for a good condition stocker has increased over the past several years from what I have seen. A very rough range would be 10,000- 18,000 with 12-14 being a fairly typical for a slightly modded Goat in average condition.

My local Craigslist has two under 10k (with surprisingly good interiors) and a handful of others from 12-20.

The one for $8k has a split in half rear SAP bumper, a stock bumper missing the lower valence pictured laying upside down in a yard, no explanation of either one, but a "6.7 LS1."

I would kill to find an LS2 GTO under 10K. I sold mine for $6700 a few years back, it had 192K on it. Tried looking here recently and it's all $12k-$15k.
