Default LT1 forged 396, Advanced Induction top end

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $4900
Location (State): NY
Item Condition: Brand New
Engine: LT1/LT4
LS Engine?: Non-LS Part

$4900 for the following:

Fresh out of very reputable machine shop, zero miles LT1 396cid stroker complete short block ready for big nitrous, boost or N/A.
4 bolt straight mains
Eagle 4340 forged crank
Eagle 4340 forged rods
ARP bolts
GM performance roller timing chain/96 front cover

Engine is being assembled now and I still have the SRP forged 15cc relief pistons. If you want the engine prepped for boost, we can go with dished (I already paid the shop for them). If not, the SRP pistons can be put back in for an N/A build.

Moroso road race oil pan with dual cutouts/trap doors on the sides and front. Was told by the forum member I bought this from years ago that it fit in a B body, if you wanted to play it safe I also have a stock pan we could use. This would make for awesome oil control under any conditions though.

Cam- your choice of cam, first is a brand new AI billet hydraulic roller setup for N/A or S/C application. Pretty much the same profile as what Golen uses for their 525hp 396 stroker. Sounds lumpy but a great street cam. Other is a custom grind AI billet hydraulic roller cam set up for a turbo setup. I'll include both cams, a $1000 value alone.

BRAND NEW IN BOX Advanced Induction 200cc complete top end
200CC heads from brand new GM cores fully assembled by AI with springs/guides/valve/retainers etc...
NIB Comp pro magnum roller rockers
NIB GM performance lifters (will be installed with the cam in the short block)
LT1 intake ported by AI, 58mm opening

That's about $9500 worth of parts for $4900, most of which are brand new in box included with the short block. Just not going to be installed as then I'd have to pay my machinist more and I won't have the time to do it myself.

For another $500 I'll include the following

polished holley 58mm T/B
custom TIG welded dual feed LT1 fuel rails (required for any big hp boosted LT)
MSD opti - less than 500 miles
ATI Balancer/hub
low mile F body MAF
Siemens Deka injectors, 60lbs (X8)
freshly powder coated accessory bracket and p/s pulley
Never installed, hand polished Canton fabricated aluminum valve covers
set of regular polished fuel rails (no dual feed)

also dozens of other LT1 parts I've have sitting in sheds on my property that I won't need anymore. Lots of low mile Delco caps and rotors, ICM's, coils, probably just about everything else from my 96 LT1 and other cars I parted out. Probably good for another couple hundred worth of parts.

The parts I listed above alone I could probably sell for $1000 if I sold individually but I'm looking to move this stuff all at once if I can. Trying to start a new project this spring and need to clear out all my old stuff first.

If you're willing to separate, id be interested in the ati balancer and hub. What model is it? New or used?

Thanks KW! I have been trying to frequent the forums again. Nothing like the good old days over there though lol Things seemed to have died out there, sadly.

Elky, not looking to separate yet but if I get somebody to buy the motor and they don't want the extras with it, I definitely will. I believe it's the F body spacing, I can grab a part number off it and a pic when I get a chance but until somebody buys the motor I probably won't consider selling it.

Is the accessory bracket B or F body?

Neutral balance crank or standard Lt1?
