Default 1966 AC Shelby Cobra - Brand New Build - Built Roller 289 w/ Tremec TKO600

Year: 1966
Make: Ford
Model: GT
Price: $32000
Mileage: 165
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NC
Color: Black
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

I know it doesn't have an LS in it but I am open to partial trades for something with a built LS. This gorgeous black on black 1966 Cobra was built from the ground up with 100% all new parts. Motor is a worked over 1966 dated coded 289 with roller cam, polished Edelbrock intake, roller rockers, polished water pump, polished accessories, Ford Racing tall valve covers, Cobra finned air cleaner, billet CSR thermostat housing, ARP hardware, Canton Racing oil pan, Ford Racing plug wires, MSD billet distributor, and ignition box. Sounds incredible through the ceramic coated headers and side pipes. Motor is backed up by a Tremec TKO600 trans, billet shifter, ram hydraulic clutch kit and Lakewood blowproof bellhousing. Complete Heidts front end with polished tubular A-arms, polished coilovers, and rack and pinion steering which helps this Cobra hug the corners and it stops on a dime with Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes on all 4 corners. Custom fully welded aluminum front spoiler / splitter assembly helps keep this Cobra planted and forces air up through the big core aluminum radiator and electric fan assembly. Full custom finned aluminum fuel tank, front sump pickup with Holley blue electric fuel pump, Holley fuel filter and Aeromotive regulator fuel assembly. Rear end is a fully built 8.8 with adjustable upper control arms. Brand new 18" Shelby wheels wrapped in Nitto 555 tires (245's up front and 275's in the rear). Completely brand new custom diamond pleated interior, fully finished door panels, kick panels, rear wrap behind the seats, custom black carpet kit and a fully finished and carpeted trunk. This entire build has just 165 miles on everything and shows like a brand new car. Gorgeous black paint is slick as glass and shows great with all new emblems. I also have a box of new uninstalled parts that go with the car as well: front and rear bumperettes, fiberglass dash assembly, Shelby cooling fans, etc. Asking $32,000 OBO but again, I am open to partial trades but will need some cash on top to go towards a new house.

Thank you. The body is a street beast and the frame is a Heidt's. I know street beast typically carries a bad name for their body but the fit and finish on this body is great. There is one spot on the top inside lip of the door that rubs and outside of that all the body lines are excellent.

^ Thanks, love the car but down payment for a house takes priority. Price drop to $32,000.
