Default 2014 GMC Sierra Z71 4X4

Year: 2014
Make: GMC
Model: Sierra 1500
Price: $9500
Mileage: 40000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TX
Color: Black
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD

2014 Z71 4X4. This is a flood truck I bough at auction. Planned to use the front clip and part the rest out but don't need it anymore so I'm just trying to get my money back out of it without having to strip it down. Exact mileage is unknown because it didn't come with keys, but I did a carfax on it and the last recorded mileage was around 40k. There are no signs of water in the oil or trans. The body on this truck is in excellent shape, the front end looks dull and dirty, but the entire front has a protective wrap on it, including the lights, grille, bumper and mirrors. So it's in excellent condition. Only body damage I can find is a small dent on the passenger side of the bed. This truck has a non-repairable title so it cannot be registered in Texas, however there are some states that allow non-repair titles to be converted to salvage/rebuilt. I'm pricing it exceptionally low considering what it's worth in parts.

So you don't have the keys? I was wondering if it ran and drove.

What does the title look like? Any liens listed? So are you the legit owner, like you can go to the dealer and get the keys for it?

No keys. I am the owner but I haven't signed & transferred the title.

Do you have the title in hand? Has it been signed over from the owner on the title?

What date was it signed? That will affect the taxes and fees.

I'm not transferring the title to my name, so it doesn't matter.

If I had not just bought a newer truck, I'd seriously consider this! I'm traveling to Houston/league city this weekend.
Not sharp shooting..but you don't have keys so you can't move the truck? It sits on the side of a street like in the pictures? Have you looked into what it would cost for the keys from the dealer? GLWS.

I can move it, it's just a pain in the ***. It was in my backyard for a while but yes right now it's sitting in the street. Issue with key isn't cost, it's that I don't have the paperwork in my name.

I don’t see why your having trouble getting a key. I bought a Corvette in Baytown without keys and had one made no problems. Didn’t have paperwork in my name either and had a non repairable title.

Just had a friend tell me the same thing. Who made the key for you? I can get a key from a locksmith but they said they wont program it unless I have paperwork in my name.

How much is a key just out of curiosity? My locksmith would never ask for paperwork. The key master i call him. Just show the locksmith title that should be good and tell him you bought it a auction. Sick truck btw i want!

Just checked this truck last night, the motor seems to be locked and there is water in the oil and trans fluid. Not sure how that was missed. At this point it looks like I'll just end up parting it out.
