The plans for this motor changed. I really need to focus on getting my GTO running instead of tearing apart my G8, which is where this motor was headed… along with a cam and torque converter. We all know that is doesn’t end there.
I build motors on the side and built a forged motor for a 5th gen Camaro earlier this year. This motor was taken in on trade, and the previous owner sent me videos of it running as well as performed a static compression check. It only had 24k miles on it and is a true LS3 (not a L99) since it came out of a manual transmission equipped car. It is as clean as a whistle. If required, I will take this engine to a local shop to run on an engine run stand or dyno prior to shipping at the buyer’s expense.
If desired, I can install an aftermarket cam kit for an additional cost prior to shipping the engine. Shipping will be $150-200 in nearby states. Serious buyers can request their own quote here - https://www.fastenal.com/en/22/3pl-(...arty-logistics)
I purchased a complete truck style intake, fuel rails, injectors, TB, coil packs/brackets, etc to make this a more complete motor for those looking for a turnkey setup.
Additionally, I can leave the Camaro oil pan assembly with sensor installed and include a set of engine stand posts (shown at the bottom of the picture) for the asking price in this ad. The covers have NEVER been off of this motor aside from the valve covers. It is super clean... I can't stress that enough.
