I have a set of LS6 heads (243) for sale that I took off of my GTO. I cleaned the heads up and sent them off to Reid Automotive in order to measure the combustion chambers (as the appear to have been worked). The results are ~67cc chambers.

I do not know who did the work on the heads, but the port work looks quite good. Definitely CNC machined. They also come fully assembled with BTR .660 lift extreme dual springs with chromoly retainers (Speedinc set up the heads).

$1100 shipped or $1050 picked up.

Jon

The car made 390rwhp with a small 224/230 speeding cam. After looking thru the tune, I think another 10rwhp could have been squeezed out of it with tuning. The dyno was done at Speedinc about 500miles before the bottom end let go, so who knows if that had an impact as well.

Rod bearing. Engine started clacking away, so I tore it down to inspect.

thats exactly right. Opening up the ports usually exposes the bottom of the rocker bolt hole on the intake runners. You use thread sealant on the rocker arm bolt. FYI, both of my CNC LS3 heads (Advanced Inductions and GM Ported) have these holes.

I don’t, but I suspect they flow as well as anyone’s stage 2 Cnc heads.

Lard to measure the valves installed, but I got ~2.05” intake and 1.57” exhaust.
