Dropped out of a 2005 Escalade (Vin N) with 87k on the odometer in 07/2015.
It sat wrapped up in my garage for a few months after that while I was deployed overseas.
When I got back I dropped it off with my engine builder Mark @ RPM Speed & Machine, he worked his magic. Wash/deck/hone the block, new cam bearings, clean/polish the crank, clean the pistons (no wear), checked the rods w/ARP hardware, rebuilt the heads etc. He wrapped and stored the engine in his shop while I went back overseas again.
I recently got back, picked it up and its been wrapped up on an engine stand in my garage since.
Here is an itemized list of what I have in it to date:
87K LQ9 - $1,826
Machine work plus bearings, rings etc - $1,735
Brian Tooley Racing spring kit - $300
Upgraded timing chain and sprockets along with a TFS dampening kit - $150
Tick performance SNS torqueMAX stage 2 cam - $400
ARP main studs - $230
ARP rod bolts - $100
ARP head bolts - $115
Melling high volume oil pump - $150
Totalled out I have just over $5000 invested in this build. I am asking $2800. I have all receipts available.
This thing will be a beast whatever it goes in, all I ask is that you run it hard and take care of it. I am located north of Wilmington, NC on the east coast. I obviously would prefer local pickup but will ship at the buyers cost with a few conditions.
Thanks guys - Brian
