Default Oe deep dish 18's or Ruff racing rims? Help!

Okay so I have narrowed it down to 2 types of rims. I attached a picture of each rim to the thread.

First is the Oe deep dish c5 rim in black machined lip?
These wheels fit perfect on the trans am correct? Has anyone had fitment issues, spacers etc. ?

The other wheels are the ruff racing 278's black with chrome lip.
I have heard these rims don't bolt up right? but seen a bunch of t/a's with this rim if you have the rim can you let me know?

My t/a is burgundy and I plan on doing the ceta bumper so I want the black rims just on the fence about which to pick could anyone with c5 deep dish, or ruff racing 278's post so I can make a decision.

get the ruff wheels there will be a bunch of people in this thread shortly telling to get oe but keep in mind alot of them are advertizing for OE wheels the ruffs in my opinion are a better looking wheel and have a better looking dish

I say OEWheels for several reasons. One 278s are no longer made. Two I absolutely hate rivets. Three for the price of OEWheels I dont think you can beat it. Not advertising for anyone just personal opinion.

Yeah the c5's are a lot cheaper about $200 but i'm gonna end up spending at least a grand or so money isn't really a big deal. I'm leaning towards the ruff racing rims anyone got pictures with either rim please post

advertise for ruffs much lately what happened to all the people who were going to show up advertising for oe wheels yes the ruffs have a huge lip but it looks cheap the way the spokes curl over from center to achieve big looking lip on narrow 9.5 wide rim with bmw bolt pattern and hubcentric rings lol! tspence made switch show the long list of others who switched too thanks

I'm running OE C5 DD wheels on my TA and no fitment issues. I probably should clearance the inner wheel well a little as there is about 3/8 inch of clearance only, but that is what the BFH is for. I'm running 295's in the rear and 265's in the front, no spacers or anything. The other plus about OE is you can get a wider wheel in the rear. I was looking at and had my heart set on Ruff 278's but wanted at least a 295 rear tire so I jumped when OE offered the C5 wheels with a 10.5 rear rim.

I like the ruff's but opted for c5 deep dish, black machine lip no rivets. ruff 278's are too hard to find.

In my opinion OE is bang for the buck with a 10.5 rear. If you have the money get the ruffs. Goodluck!

I bought the ruff racing 280's in black brand new about a year ago. I love them. They are a bad *** wheel...but as many have said, the rivets suck

so, I took the rivets out...and it looks much better.

I wanted the C5 DD for so long but after I realized it would be forever before the 18" fronts actually started shipping out I bought a set of hard to find 18" Ruff 279's in Chrome. I honestly could care less about having a huge tire out back. Not to mention I daily drive mine year round and go thru tires. The Ruff rears are 9.5" so you can easily fit a 295 tire or even a 305 if it runs skinny like Nitto. If I want a big tire out back I'll slap on the Convo Pros & slicks.
