car was purchased from the original owner in the beginning of the year with intentions of swapping a 5.3 with a plate kit and a power glide into it. my buddy has since had a kid and hasn't had the time or money to devote to the car so it needs to go. here's the spec's:
car:1979 ford fairmont
engine/trans: 3.3 I6/automatic
body: 2door "boxtop"
rear: stock 7.5
these are built on the same platform as a fox mustang so all the suspension parts bolt right up. has aluminum front and rear bumpers from the factory and these can get very light easily. the body is in really good shape for a 32 year old car, affectionately named "doodoo brown" its definitely got the potential to be a killer sleeper. it does have its share of dings/dents/scratches but there's no rust or rot (car was garage kept its entire life). interior is complete and decent - carpet has some stains, front and rear seat vynal has some minor cracks but nothing major. the A/C is all there, but doesn't work, it runs and drives but hasn't been driven since February - starts and runs, brakes are a little soft(but it stops) and engine has a miss when its cold. he didnt care about any of this because it was all going to get pulled out anyway.
