looking to try and fab up a guauge pod of some kind. anyone want to donate or sell me cheap a drivers or center vent?

 

Local Pick-N-Pull got a CTS in this week, and I plan to visit today or tomorrow. I need a passenger side vent, so if things are intact I'll try to grab all of them.

Got 'em. I assumed when you said "center" you meant the double one on top of the nav/radio stack, as opposed the one just to the right of the nav screen. (Wouldn't make much sense to put a gauge over there, so I think my assumption is correct.) As you can see, the driver side vent has some faux wood overlay on it - I tested, and it looks like it'll peel off without too much work, probably some Goo Gone will finish it up.



Guy at the yard only charged me for 1 of the 3 vents, so looks like these'll be free + shipping. I'll ship 'em via Priority Mail on Monday, should fit in the $13 medium flat-rate box. Just PM your address and I'll shoot you my Paypal.
