'90 ZR1s are the 375hp variety. Not the 405hp from '93 on up. And still the feminine power band of the 5.0 can't hang with GMs '80s' tech. The C4 ZR1, still one of the baddest cars on the planet.

ZR1 is very undergeared too. You are barely in third gear in the 1/4

Funny how there are no furd queerleaders in here yet, running their traps about 5.br0s. They must be getting quite discouraged.

You can get more cubes out of an LT5 too. That plenum though is a pita to remove and replace

I guess the better DOHC won. We have a customer with one, he has let me take it out a couple times a lot better than I thought it was going to be. He says they have some kind of endurance record that stands today

Most real car guys know the Callaway C4's with twin turbos. But this is a Super RareCallaway ZR1! Little eye candy for you guys. Local dude in my neighborhood.

Early ZR1's trapped 108-112mph, not to mention the C4 is stupid easy to launch. No real shock by this outcome. A ZR1 would handle a C5, an LS1 4th gen, an LS2 GTO, and a 5th gen SS pretty easily.

So, nearly the same HP but ~600lbs weight diff and this is a thing? LOL

I'm actually surprised the C4ZR1 didn't kill the bro worse....

Wow.....when did s197 cars start weighing 3800-3900 lb?

Lets not forget the gearing difference. That's the only thing that kept the 5br0 as close as it was

That callaway zr1 is ****
