It's just a dyno number. See how it runs at the track. Then you'll know if it's running like it should

HCI is right. See how it runs at the track.

The 85mm maf might be holding it back a little. Just cause it’s smaller than the throttle body.

You didn’t say what CR. If it’s in your sig it’s not showing on my phone. Anyway - yes there probably is more in it, but it likely has more to do with intake and exhaust than the mill itself.

I see the details now. They didn't pull up originally lol. That stall probably isn't doing you any favors on the dyno. Like others have said, dyno numbers are everywhere. You could have driven the car straight to another dyno and picked up 20hp. Go see what she traps and report back đŸ‘

I would expect peak HP to carry another 500rpm on that setup.

Dyno is just a tuning tool. Take it to the track and let it eat.

I had a similar setup except it was a 228r cam/ 11.1 compression (243s milled)/ M6. It made 430rw/396rw. I thinks its right where it should be for an automatic. Now its time you look at some power adders lol

Would Stage I TSP 243 heads be holding it back? If not, those heads are way better than I thought!

My car pulls hard to 7000 with those heads and a msd intake.

Car trapped 121-122 mph through a 4000 stall hitting the limiter on the 1-2 and the 2-3 shift every pass. (Transmission let go the following weekend on the street ). Not a doubt in my mind I will trap 124+ mph in the spring after I rebuild my transmission with the setup in my sig.

Op should run it and see where he is at.

Forgot to add to this to my above post:

At a random car event they had a dyno you could make a couple pulls on for $50. So I did it, maybe get a happy dyno number for garage wall art.....Nope lol. I made 396 whp on a hub loaded dyno and they spun it to 6700 rpms where it made 396 whp with the setup in my sig. What I'm saying is it's just a dyno, run it and see if it traps good.

Just to drag this out again; dyno numbers should NEVER be taken as absolutes, ONLY relative to each other. Baseline, then whatever you do to it. ALWAYS on the same dyno, or any comparison is not a fair one.
Only if this was always normal....
