Window Rivet part number? Size?

Looking to drill out the driver’s side window sash to replace it... I know some people use bolts, but I’d rather rivet if I can...

Also: any tips on riveting without shattering the glass?

there are 3 rivets called out for in the parts layout catalog,GM #s' 12338153,10157547,9440392.
I don't know which rivet for what purpose you're implying,got a pic ?

For whatever reason I can’t get a photo to attach from my phone. But on the GM online Parts Diagrams the part I need to attach to the glass is #14 (Sash Channel) (GM PN 16625874).

If that doesn’t help I’ll try posing a photo when I get home tonight! Thanks for the help!

That #14 16625874 corresponds to #19 on the parts layout catalog. It uses 2 #12338153 rivets AND/BUT no information is given about the rivet other than p/n.
