was this a 97 convertible vette with a stock A4 tranny? I have yet to have any SRT vehicle even come close to beating my LS1 or any that I have seen im sure they do have fast ones out there but those cars are fat pigs which hurts their performance I know im about to unleash the rain on me but facts are facts lol

Stock 99, not convertible stock original trans, I let out of the gas when he was at my rear bumper. I thought we were well past the 1/8th mile, but he was still pulling on me, no excuses here.

a manual 392 isn’t a low 12 car typically

Good run for a stock LS1, the 392 is no joke.

To the 1/8 you easily had him. Hell, that would have been a good race to the 1/4 too. You did well. Should have put some cash down to the 1/8th..lol

yes that speaks volumes for the old *** vette though roughly 130HP less and about 1klbs less lol and still and even race with a 15 years older car

Pretty much what I expected. Challenger can't launch, loses the 1/8th, and comes back hard for the 1/4.

Paper filter stock a4 Corvette. It's a scat pack Challenger, not sure the year thought it was a 2016 but another guy said it was a 2018, it was also bone stock.

If it doesn't rain this weekend we will be doing a 5.3 Camaro vs Challenger race, dig and roll, it's a mild cam, fast intake lm7 . rosler trans with a 3400 stall. 3.90 gears.

Seems about right, that Dodge should be in the 12s and he would have passed me in the 1/4.

For a car that hit the streets in 1996 it does ok.

and somehow they still look modern to me. Great design
