Default Nick Williams throttle body ( real or fake )

I have done as much research as I can before posting on here but I cannot find any information as far as markings of any sort to be able to tell the difference between a real Nick Williams throttle body and a fake one. Can somebody please help me with identifying a real Nick Williams throttle body?

thanks

Where did you purchase it from? If from a legit vendor, you have no worries. Post some pics of box, packing, and TB.

I'm getting it from an acquaintance who I've known for a year or so and he says he got it from hawk motorsports but I'm just not sure and figured a throttle body with that much popularity would have some kind of Mark but maybe not

Please post pics of it and the box it came in. Mine came in a VERY generic looking box and has no marking of it being a NW. I swear I think I would have been just as well off buying one for a hundred bucks off of ebay. It is a very simplistic piece.

I ordered one from a reputable vendor on here and it came in a blank box with a large order i placed its no doubt real but i was the same way i figured for the price it would have a logo or something on it.

Nick Williams might just be one of those outfits that does NOT believe in fancy packaging

I don't think too highly of the plastic elbow that came with the throttle body for 400 bucks I would have expected a little more. I will be replacing mine with something a little more robust.

My NW looks exactly like the PTM one that I sold, except it doesn't say PTM on the blade. Everything else looked identical.

I see a lot of NW posts if them for sell, but they have no markings to prove it’s a real NW one

The picture I posted is my PTM before I sold it which I confirmed looked just like the NW 92mm that I have on there now. My NW has no markings on it.

For what it's worth, a genuine Nick Williams TB looks nothing like the pictures of this PTM.

Then why does the one I purchased at summit racing that's on my car look like it? What does a real Nick Williams TB look like?

Here's the thread with others saying they can't tell the difference. The PTM has PTM stamped on the blade.
