Help me fit a turbo in here....

anything is technically possible but that bay is very tight.
it would either be hanging out the bonnet, mounted in front of a front wheel, mounted between engine and rad or rear mounted.
room looks tight for an A2A intercooler also.
looking at that bay a PD blower would be much easier to make work

Get some better photos, above, below and also what is under those front wings, as seems to be a void ?
Getting exhaust into the turbo isnt always a problem....downpipe away from it can be
Up front doesnt look doable for a turbo though....PD style blower probably easiest option, although charge cooling may require some room for another rad up front.
I cant see you fitting a centri in there.
MP122 is the older Maggie blowers, so probably a good bit cheaper and what most Monaro guys would have used. Or some base kits used the 112 but I dont think they came with any charge cooling ability. Audio wise....would probably be better suited to such a car ?

Pusher fan and front mount. E85 and no intercooler or pump gas and a ton of meth. Some t4s are pretty small (On3 or s366 for example). It’s gonna be tough if youre not planning on moving anything to make it fit. First find a place for the turbo, mount it and remount everything else around it. If you want the turbo bad enough, you’ll make it work.

Hi,
thanks for ideas.
When some of you say rear mount, do you mean upper or lower? Dont think i got room really for either...
Its also sidepipes on car which you may not see from pic.
even thought of nitrous kit and put fast 102 on it, though cant seem to find many local fill depots for nitrous.

Rear mount means exactly that....rear of car. Less efficient, last resort kind of deal.
Turbos in lieu of the sidepipes however....doable for sure
I'm sure if you contact Nitrous Express or Wizards of Noz they could point you in the direction of a fill station. But UK bullshit laws have made access to it a bit more difficult in past years because they class it as a drug or some nonsense so use/sales are more awkward for distributors.
But really, a well built 427 or the likes would be great for such a car too.

Hi Stevie,
sidepipes have to stay more than i want a turbo..
playing around with ideas atm.
thought cast manifolds upside down forward and then into turbo near air inlet might fit..?
Will try to post more pics.

the sidepipes would stay there.....they'd just have a turbo in the middle lol
As said, getting into the turbo is one thing...getting a downpipe out is another and of course charge cooling although if low boost etc that could be worked around.
