Description:

I have a set of Absolute Speed stage 2.5 ported ls6 heads (243 casting) for sale. They have 2.04 intake valves, 1.57 exhaust valves, comp double springs 977's I think, titanium retainers and viton seals. In addition to the full port, they have had the intake port entrance radiused a little.

I purchased these about 1.5 years ago with a car I got. The intake runner of these heads has been ported to high and there is a small hole in the bottom of the spring seat. The holes are pretty small, however, it is enough to allow oil to be sucked into the intake runners.

A possible solution might be to weld up the holes and clean up the runners. I did not have the resources to do such a job that is why I am looking to sell.

I've attached photos showing the intake runner. These would be great heads once repaired! $300+shipping. These are being sold as is. Paypal accepted.

Hi I had a few questions. These holes, you said they are underneath the spring seats, but would they even leak that much being that they are underneath them? What are the cons to this, more oil burning? Do you think it would also create wasted blow-by and be harmful? Or what's the worst that could happen running them?

And last question, I don't plan to run a cam with that much lift, would you sell the heads with out them for a small discount?

also are the ports radiused too large to where the manifold gaskets don't sit right or are they okay?
