Default Fitech 92mm 4bolt throttle body question

This is kind of a strange question I realize but I am installing a TBSS intake on my turbo lq4, the hood on my car slopes down quite a bit and I am running into some fitment issues with the china throttle body and the stock gen 3 truck tb on a adapter. I saw the new 92mm fitech 92mm tb part number 70061, I was wondering if anyone here has on off the car and can measure in the center of the throttle body, from the bottom of the flange to the highest point on the tb casting IE where the iac goes in. it looks to be the lowest profile 4 bolt throttle body out there, I have a dbw tb that im gonna hack up to check fitment. thanks

When it comes to hood/TB conflicts, TB wins. Hack the hood, not the TB

In which case you might have to switch to a Dorman LS2 to work as well as the TBSS, in case the TB doesn't clear the hood. Which car are you working with?

1979 Volvo 240, I may just get a china throttle body and make a angled spacer that puts it forward a tad and angles down

Unless I'm mistaken Holley makes an angle adapter that works either way (unless they have 2 different ones). It might work for you. Check it out!

Thanks for the tip! I just saw that, I may order the throttle body and check fitment. And possibly make a similar wedge out of wood to test if that helps fitment.
