Yet another LS7 Clutch Issue

Yet another LS7 Clutch Issue
Alright, not to beat an old drum, but I have a 1999 camaro ss. I had the LS1 clutch installed along with a shim (.150), a new slave cylinder, and I have a new master cylinder with the drill mod. The car runs fine at pedestrian speeds. Heck, it will light them up in first. Oddly, when I went to run at the track (After over 500 miles of break in), the car would hit 1st and 2nd gear fine, then I'd reach for 3rd, but see the tachometer moving up, but no real forward motion with the car. The same thing could be said of 4th gear. The clutch pedal would return to the top, but I'm fairly certain the slave cylinder is functioning normally, but I think I have clutch slippage issues.
Can anyone let me know some ways I can tackle this? I'd like to keep the clutch as it is new. Could it just need to be bled from the slave cylinder, or do it possibly need the flywheel resurfaced. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

It turns out the mechanic screwed up the install. When he initially installed the clutch he knocked a freezer plug into the oil pan, when he removed the pilot bearing. Apparently when he put in the new freezer plug it wasn't seated properly, and leaked all over the new clutch, thereby destroying it prematurely.

Per this article I had the mechanic measure to see if the clutch requires a shim. https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission/1030815-does-your-clutch-setup-need-shim.html
It did, in fact, require a shim. My understanding is that your clutch will prematurely wear without a shim. I have no issues with clutch engagement off the floor.
