How exactly is a v6 harness supposed to work on a v8 engine? This can’t be a real question.

I'm pretty sure you can just add the other wires from the pinout on the ECU, It would be easier to just buy a premade harness from one of the vendors or from the classifieds here.

Or you could build a harness from scratch. Or you could run a stand-alone with its own proprietary harness. Or what does any of that have to do with the question being asked?

Only everything, He asked if the harness could work and the answer is yes if he wants to go thru work needed. The harness will already have many of the connections needed so technically he could use it if he wanted to add what is missing. He already has the computer and connectors and some of the plugs will be the same, He'll have all the extra wire needed so he only has to add and subtract wires and plugs to complete the harness, If he has the ability then it's just a matter of doing it. I suggested the stand alone because they aren't as expensive as many people seem to think.
The real question is why are you always such a dick?
