1967 Nova with LS3 DWB pedal help
I just got my 10+ year project finished...almost. I have an LS3 that requires ACdelco 25835421(2006-2012 corvette) pedal. Right now I have a Lokar pedal that feels terrible. The pedal is too soft and touchy, and I am not happy with it, and Lokar is telling me it cannot be stiffened any.
The ACdelco pedal arm needs to be shorter, and the bracket modified to fit the car.
Question: Can I safely take apart the ACdelco pedal, modify what I need for the arm and bracket, then re-assemble without any problems with the sensor?
Any tips?

I don't see any issue with shortening the pedal arm, as long as the assembly still goes thru full travel to get full throttle.

I cut off the Corvette "pedal" (at that awkward angle) and attached the stock pedal out of my car -- installed so it put the throttle pedal right back at the stock (perfect for heel/toe) location. You'd never know anything was different unless you got a look way up under the dash.

Details: LS3 490hp, 490 torque with T56. Chassisworks front end that has been channeled into the body 3" to get the rockers a little under 5" off the ground. This turned into way more work than anticipated but it was worth it. Everything is tucked inside the frame rails so nothing will drag. Chassisworks canted 4 bar rear clip and 345 tires. Has A/C, full sound system, power windows, cruise control....It is capable of hitting the track, but it will just be a cruiser. I built it to drive, not to show.

Why disassemble it? Cut it apart and reweld it.

I was told that ACdelco 25830024 would also work with an E38. This is a 2007 Monte Carlo SS pedal. It is a shorter and straight pedal, and it has the same 6 connector plug but not sure about the pinout. Can anyone confirm that these pedals are compatible?
