Default 853 vs 241 vs 862 on stock LS1

Im building a motor for a friend. SBE 99 LS1 car will have stock cam just headers and LS6 intake. If you had a set of 853s 862s and 241s sitting there ready fo go which would be the better head. I’m thinking for a stock cam and rpm range the 862 would be the better choice and I’d rather run the mls gasket so that sets the 853 back but those are the heads he all ready owns. What do you all think would be the better choice?

I'd do 862 on a stock engine. Slight compression boost over the 853.

I agree you will make more compression with the smaller chambered head but if you really want the most from the 862 you need to machine them for the 2.00 inch intake valve.
