Default 4l80e valve body separator plate question

I bought a Jake's performance 4l80e rebuild kit a few years . Had a local trans guy rebuild it for me . Was in a 4x4 earlier, now I'm converting it to 2wd to use in a different project . When I took apart the valve body I found this sort of restrictor in one of the holes on the separator plate where checkball no. 4 for second clutch sits . Any idea what that does and should I leave it in there .

Also I blocked the 3rd accumulator and plan on leaving the reverse checkball out . The guy drilled most of the feed holes to .125" a little to big for my liking I'll see how it runs , if its too harsh I'll put a new separator plate in there.

If I recall correctly... The plate Jake produces in-house does not have the two large holes for the 3rd and 4th accumulator pistons.

Wasn't sure , If I remember correctly I got a stage 2 rebuild kit about 4 years ago . I don't know if it came with a separator plate or not . Either way the guy who built didn't put it in if it did come with it .

Our rebuild kits do not come with the recall kit unless ordered as an add on. We do however give tips on how to modify the stock plate for hydraulic improvements.
