Track results, thoughts.

Track results, thoughts.
Car has the mods in my sig. Its set up for a blower which I haven't gotten yet. I had it built for that. Compression is 9.5:1. On the dyno when it was tuned it did 412 HP and 400 TQ. I was disappointed in that. Was hoping for closer to 450. But I know being an auto and having a 9 inch that will make a big difference on a dyno.
Finally took it to track last night and best it would do was 7.77 at 89mph in the 1/8. Also ran a 7.89 at 89mph. I was expecting it to do a lot better at the track. Were my expectations too high or is the car doing about what would be expected given the low compression and that its set up for a blower? TIA for any advice or views.
UPDATE: 9-19-20. I posted new update down below. Not sure why I didn't just edit my original post here. Lol.

What do you need to know? I was running 315x35x17 Mickey Thompson Drag Radials on TTM wheels. Car launches fine. Very smooth. I was launching at about 2000rpm. Just letting the converter flash. 60ft times were 1.69 and 1.78

Honestly I used a drag time calculator which are pretty close and you are pretty much on the money. If you are weighs 3500 with 412 hp it says 8.04 with a 1.80 60’. Your compression is hurting you being na. If you had 2 more points of compression you would be in the 470 range. That would get you in the lower 7s. I’d be happy with the results. Once you boost it it’s going to be a whole new car I promise. You will be much happier with it

Yeh I don't get caught up on dyno numbers really. I know its an auto. But I was pretty bummed on the track results. I was hoping for more like 7.50's around 91-92mph. But I realize the compression is a big drawback. Another thing is it was in the damn 90's on Friday. That never helps. And you're right I can't even imagine what it will feel like with the ProCharger on it. Then I'll probably be bummed I can't get it to hook. Ha ha.
think. Get the Procharger and some 15” wheels with so drag radials. Say high to mid to low 10s depending on how much boost you run

That's why I'm reluctant now to drop another 7-8000 in it for a blower. I spend all that and all it will do is run 7.20's in the 1/8 at like 97mph. I'm thinking about getting back into Turbo Buicks. They will fly for not much money. Decisions, decisions. Ha ha.
