I thought I would start a thread of my big block swap from my LT1 Camaro.

Looking good, I'm assuming with the BBC you're building it for the 1/4? Looks similar to mine, except yours is all one color. And you trimmed the cowl all the way back to windshield. I kept my drivers side wiper in case I get caught in rain on the street.

Glad to see a build in the SBC/BBC forums. These forums are pretty dead as everyone is going LS so it's nice to see a new build. Sold my LS to use my 1st gen SBC so my build will be coming here soon!

Where about in Ft Worth are you located? Looks like you have a pretty solid car and a good start to an awesome build

I am in the Hurst area. I have more photos on the way. We are getting closer to installation now. This build is for the 1/8th mile...but could run the 1/4.

I really should sit down and make a build thread, maybe I'll start one this evening when I get home. I pulled the blown up LT1 out of my car and swapped in a cheap junkyard roller engine with vortec heads, hot cam, and single plane with a 750 and ran that around the streets until it got hot and then spun a bunch of bearings in the bottom end. It's got a 427 SBC, th350 and 6 point in it now.

That sounds like a rowdy setup man, and that would be a good read for sure. I need to sell all of my LT stuff. I have everything besides a clutch and a car, from the cold air to the fuel tank with walbro 255 lol.

I should be making some more progress this week/weekend. I am waiting on headers to be shipped, engine to be done, and clutch to be sent back from Mcleod. Gonna finish up some wiring in the next few days, and I will snap some more pics then.
