99 Turbo Trans Am Build/Dyno/Burnouts 2019
The car has had many setups throughout my 10 years of ownership. Last year was a bad year for me as my new shortblock I had built ate a few bearings in 20 miles and I lost all interest in the car. This new motor/hotside/coldside and turbo are new for 2019. I had a tuning session with Denmah on Cinco De Mayo in PA and couldn't be happier with the results. Big shout out to Moot H. for his tuning abilities using E85.
The car ended up making 831rwhp on 23lbs with 16deg on E85. Breakdown and videos below.
370 iron block. Mahle Pro-Tru Forged Pistons and stock Gen 4 rods. Rings at 28 and 30.
Sloppy Stage 2 cam with BTR .660 spring on stock 317 heads. 10.9.1
Bosch 210's, Dual 450's intake/-8an Feed/-6an return-ls6 Intake
V-Banded Truck Manifolds with 2.5" Mandrel hotside. China IC with 3" piping T6 Borg S480 Cast Wheel with (2) Knock off Tial 38mm Gates. Monkey Fab T6 Flange.
Stock 4l80e with HD2 Kit and a Jake's Billet NON lockup converter.
9" with 3.70 Gears. Car is on E85 full time.
