Any LS fwd engine to fit in my 1991 Chrysler TC by Masrati 3.0 v6 ...Any ideas
I have a perfectly straight bodied Chrysler TC by Maserati with 3.0 v-6. everything running, but I want an LS FWD swap? Possible? Any ideas?

The only LS engine would be the LS4 5.3L which came in FWD cars like the Chevy Impala, Monte Carlo, and some Buick and Pontiac models. It uses a unique block made just for FWD applications.
Having said all that, it would be a major engineering and fab job to get it into the TC and work right.

The LS4 is the only FWD LS engine and it only came with a 4 speed auto. The starter is transmission mounted, so transmission swaps are more complicated, but a few of us that have converted to manual transmission as part of the swap.
Swapping it into the TC is likely possible, but it will be a one off build with lots of fabrication and R&D for solutions to mounts, axles, ecm/chassis interface, etc... Depending on the width of the chassis it might require some notching to the frame rails for clearance.
Here is my swap: LS4 w/ F40 6 speed manual in an 88 Fiero:

YEsSsSS!!!!! Whenever i see a new Maserati, all i see is one of these, and hear bum souding joe Walsh singing "lifes been good to me so far"......cant stant that song.
I think graft an entire impala subframe and be done.
I would love to one of these doing long smokey fwd v8 burnouts!!

Be very cool if you could make it fit. Get you tape measure out.
If there is a possibility of fitting, I'd try keep the existing K frame (maybe some modifications to it) and adapt mounts to the new engine.

OP,
Read this!: I had a friend ~25 yrs ago with a 4cyl. NA LeBaron (the one that looked super similar to the TC.) The speedometer was way optimistic and he thought it would do 140mph on the way to Blues games. Ah, memories. lol
