I'm not saying you're wrong, but if you can buy a new aluminum 6.2 block under 1,500 I'd like to know where because I'll probably buy one for another truck...

A brand new ls3 block is about 2k a used block is about 600 to 1200 for depending on what one l92 l94 600 to 800 l99 ls3 700 to 850 ls9 with squirted about 1200, I just picked up a low miles ls3 long block for 1600, there's s ls3 long. BLock with a bad piston near me for 1k,, but if someone needs a block the 1500 might be worth it she's clean, I have a whole good really nice rotating assembly for a l94 and one for a ls3 with marked bearings, have a new crank kit for ls3 gundrilled also for sale if anyone needs one , also have all the l94 parts to sell cam oil pump heads everything

That's expensive for a ls3 these days brand new. Ws6store and a few other places sell the LS9 new for a little over $2k. An Ls3 has to be a lot cheaper than a LS9,LS7, and LSA block. http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=9529

Price is right, clean LS3's are hard to find for that. They are 2000.00 NEW today.
