Transbrake of your choice

TCI, because it's the cheapest. If you are looking for that trillionth of a second faster release, then I guess grinner, or one of those other $700 plus brakes.

For an inexpensive "stock casting" Trans-Brake valve-body...
I have found nothing better for the money than the CK Performance RMVB.
Great use of a one off / custom valve and extremely short path for the direct/ reverse circuit.
Otherwise... Spend the $$$ and get an aftermarket valve-body from Griner!

Hipster's transbrake.
TCI is NOT the cheapest...and it's not a good brake.
You'll find lots of people having issues with them.
The CK brake is meh
The hipster is what I use in my builds now for a "stock casting" reworked valve body.
It is very fast release. Very reliable. And it keeps the clutches/bands alive for a long time.
For a little more money, you can call Jakes performance and get a billet valve body. Clean sheet design, very nice piece.
Coan is nice also. But bang for buck...hipster brake 100%

I used to use Hipster's brake for stock castings.
I was using 3 different brakes for a while...
CK was NOT one of them. However the most recent CK brake is the only brake I use now (stock casting anyway).
Definitely worth a try if you have not in a long time.
