Transmission Question Hey guys, I know this is a dead forum but hoping somebody sees this. My 05 GP-GXP needs transmission repair or replacement. Just wondering if the GXP with Tap shift has any differences from the other LS4 transmissions or are they interchangeable. Are the transmissions from the supercharged GTP-the same as the GXP?
What about parts? Who's the go to supplier now?
Depending on what I find, I've got to decide if I want to repair the car or just cut my losses and replace the whole vehicle.

Transmission is GXP specific and different internally from the other LS4 cars. Any transmission shop should be able to handle the repair, they should be ordering by the VIN but I would still mention it's different from most others because of the TAPshift. If you are looking for something more than a stock rebuild most use this company
