Newbie here to the forum with limited mechanical expertise, but willing to try. I have a 67 Camaro with a carbureted crate SBC 350 paired with a 2 speed PG. I’ve owned it for 7 years now and it runs/drives great, but was thinking about upgrading that PG. Well as luck would have it, while looking for transmission upgrades, I came across a 2010 SS Camaro donor car with the L99/4L80e option. In the next year, I’m hoping to convert the L99 to the LS3 525 upgrade and obtain a 4L80e to throw into my “67. I’m sure I’ll have plenty of questions just on the prep/purchase side and then tons more when it comes to tear down and install. I’m hopeful to meet some new folks, get some good advice, and hopefully meet some new friends.
Thanks for allowing me to join and thanks to those that assist me when I start some “request for help” threads once I get the time and money to start my project.
