TH400 into RX7 FB with 'built' LQ4

TH400 into RX7 FB with 'built' LQ4 I'm LS swapping an LQ4 into an RX7 FB, and it should hopefully make about 450hp at the crank. The crappy 4l60e I have laying around is not going to hold up to the drifting/authority evasion(read as running from in-laws) I have planned.
I would go 4l80e but that's a little more expensive and bigger than th400. I of course would love a manual but I'm not made of money. Other suggestions are appreciated.
Onto the real questions;
Will the TH400 hold up to this abuse?
I've heard pretty much good things and am decently sure it will, but wanna double check where I can.
I'm obviously gonna buy a cheap ******* off of Facebook marketplace, What should I look at when buying and how should I go about a refresh? How in depth of a refresh will I need?
