LT1-LT4 Modifications 1993-97 Gen II Small Block V8

Hey all, just want some experienced opinion on a simple question.

Default Hey all, just want some experienced opinion on a simple question.

Ok so I am NOT new to motors as a whole, but all have their quirks and I AM new to the LT1 in my '95 z28. I need a wideband for the tuner, so I bought a vent pod, and the pod has an extra spot. I searched and about 6 pages in, nothing definitive, so asking here:
What gauge would you put in the extra spot? A temp gauge because of the sensitivity to overheats? An oil pressure because, I am assuming the oem deal isn't accurate? Trans temp or etc?

If I need to make more spaces I will make that happen, but what would you all with experience want to keep an eye on the most with a cammed 383 n/a motor like I am building currently?

Ok thanks I will look into it more, I didn't know fuel pressure drops were an issues with these.

never has been with me, 150K miles, original owner, 4 LT1 engines. I’d put oil pressure, that is the most instantaneous item you likely care about and your factory gauge will drop but not scream it. I actually added three warning lights to my pod which were oil pressure, water temp, and oil temp warning light to be right at eye level on the A-pillar. Often have cooling/water pump/fan/issues with these cars and can overheat quickly.

oh and FYI this A-pillar is for sale, all wired to two 4-pin weather packs.
