Default Why are my fans on constantly? Holley EFI

I have a Terminator X system with a Holley CAN I/O add on. I also have a Current Performance integration harness. My problem is, whenever my car is running or if the key is in "run", the cooling fans are running. The Current Performance harness would normally have let the factory PCM control the fans, but I wanted to have my Holley do it, so I wired my fans to the CAN I/O module through the factory relays and wiring. Whatever values I input into the Holley software, they're ignored. So is my factory PCM somehow overriding my Holley programming? I have a crankshaft position sensor splitter and a coolant temp sensor splitter, both of which I was told would work fine with my '98 PCM, but maybe I need to have a dedicated sensor for each computer? Or is something else triggering my fans to run?

How do you have it set up in the software?? Add another condition where RPM has to be over 500 or so in order to turn fans on

Fan one is triggered by "CTS above 170 degrees", fan two is enabled only when fan one is enabled and "CTS above 185 degrees". The problem is, even when the car is completely cold, the fans turn on. I'm not concerned as much that they're on when the key is in run, but that they aren't following the programming.

Are you just using the basic I/O?? I'd make a custom I/O for each fan then set your on/off temps and add another condition.

I had weird issues with my second fuel pump using the basic I/O where it wouldn't follow any of my programmed settings.

It's all custom I/O, because it's on my CAN I/O, not on the main Terminator outputs. Everything else on my CAN I/O works as it should, so I'm thinking it has to do with how it's wired.

Jay Blanchard (Jaywire) over in Grand Haven specializes in wiring and fuel systems. You could try hitting him up over FB, he has a space in GH somewhere near downtown. Very savvy with Holley.
