I need a cracked or junk LS1 block for mock up in a car. It can be aluminum or iron. I think 5.3, 5.7, 6.0 all bolt up the same I think. I'm gonna start making motor plates and also need a block and my tranny bolted back in the car to do a torque arm also. Let me know what ya got. Would prefer local but will pay for shipping too. I have an LS6 block that took a piece of the piston through the side into the water jacket. Still structrually sound. Can send pics if you want... Basically I only want what its worth from an aluminum recycling yard plus shipping. Its located in salt lake.

 

What would a aluminum recycler give for an engine block? I'm not sure. If you can get a price, let me know something. Thanks
