ls6 heads awsome deal

243 yellow springs, have rockers for both pair, an valve covers for one set, 7 coil packs

It would make it an LS6. The LS1 in the GTO is an LS6 block. However read this new test comparing LS1 heads and LS6 heads...

the head castings are the same, But the valve are differnt
243 LS6 are LS6, and better parts
243 LS2 are LS2

And whats the difference between them besides maybe the combustion chamber circumference is bigger. I've got stage 2.5 TSP LS6 heads. I always thought all I would have to do was open the chambers up wider If I ever put a
LS2 block in. Am I wrong?

If I went to all the trouble to change heads I would put at least Stage 1s on it.
