Barely in the nines. My last five hits have been below 10.1 and just dipped into the nines last night.
You can click on the pic in my sig for info on the car.

Sorry, I was probably in the process of updating it. It should be GTG now. Info is at the bottom of the page.

Thanks,

Probably not this Friday. She needs a little TLC. I've been beating the snot out of her the last couple of months.

Congrats on your 9.xx thats awesome, i went to the track the first time ever with this car looking for 9.xx and instead got best of 10.68 and didn't have a clue why, didn't take long before we started finding the bugs, just wonder how many trips to the track for you before you hit 9.xx thanks.

Car & driver weigh 3578#s. I usually don't, but I did have the passenger seat out for this hit.

Thanks!
Trips total??? About 200! That's starting at 13.2

I ran a 10.2 in October with full interior in so-so air so I knew a nine was a possibility. I went back in Nov 100#s lighter @ -450' asl DA and ran 10.02 spinning off the line. I picked up some MT 3754Xs before going back and dropped .04 in the 60'. Even though the extra weight actually slowed me down in the back half, I still managed a nine. I guess you could say it was my second serious attempt to run in the 9s.

Hey P thanks for your reply it gives me hope i can hit it in second attempt, will see how that plays out, i have to wait for the next private track rental day hopefully next month sense i don't have any kind of track legal require equipment, only have a helmet, else waiting on a 3600 stall converter sense i only had 2600 stall dual disk from back when i had a supercharger, i think i will miss the performance of the dual disk cause it behaved like a gentleman on the street and still flashes in @ 3,500 but i think is a Lil tight for what I'm doing, else found the rear IRS wondering around a lot so i took out the forward cradle main bushing and pinned it so it can not move around anymore, and hopefully improves my 60 foot times.

NP, I've followed your build thread on the GTO forum. Here is mine. Funny we both have different screen names here. I've tried to have mine changed but they won't do it.

If you're going to run 10.0 (or better) you will have to get off the line quicker, much quicker. GForce, Monsta, and I have been the only ones to do it N/A in US/GTOs and our incrementals are pretty similar. 1.3x 60's, 6.3x 1/8 mile. I believe GForce & Monsta both have the same converter, FTI 4K. I have a Circle D 4C. I don't think you can do it covering the 1/8 any slower, you're 2 tenths slower on the back half too. Hopefully the new converter will do you right and push you toward the 9s.

How do you like the 4k stall conv on the street, I allways worry about too much slippage driving around in town, and at what rpm does your converter flash in, thanks again Dave.

It "flashes" to about 5K at the hit. Drops from 7150 to 5800 on the 1-2 & 6K on the 2-3. I've had a Vig 3K, a Yank SS4K, and this CircleD; honestly I can't tell much difference between them on the street.

So you like the CircleD best?

Yeah but I think the FTI is probably as good. Circle D's shop is about a mile from my office & I guess I'm kind of old skool when it comes to that. All things being equal; I put a certain value in being able to conduct business/give expectations face to face. HKE/Erik built my motor and I'm sure he got tired of me looking over his shoulder too! I'm equally pleased with both transactions.
