Default 9 second N/A Ls1/Ls6 club

I know there is a handful of people who have dipped into the 9's with their ls1 or ls6. I'm talking blocks that have not been sleeved to 427ci. Gm or aftermarket heads. Just wondering what setup it took you to get there.

I've seen some on YouTube. It takes weight reduction and attention to detail in the suspension setup along with a great 60'. I'm stroking my ls1 to a 383 with a Mamo msd, Mamo heads, and a llsr cam. I doubt I'll see 9s n/a but I do expect low 10s.

Cool man it's nice to see people are still gunning for fast times N/A. Your combo should be stout with all the Mamo goodies

Nice man that would be impressive. I have ported 243 heads on my ls1 and it have been a tough challenge to hit 9's but I'm close

Thanks man. I'm at 10.8 with my bolt on only setup now, I have the car apart to have the trans done by gforce, more mods, different fuel, some weight reduction but the set back of a roll bar. Hoping for 10.50s. When it won't go any faster I'm going to put a cam in it.

Very nice! That's very impressive for a bolt on ls6 setup. You doing it the right way for sure and yea it does suck we have to add 70+lbs for the cage. I just hate getting kicked out of the track...

The cars that run 9s with stock cubes all go weigh less than 2900 with driver and have great suspension to put the power to the ground.

Tusky your right. Gotta be light and 60ft has to be high 1.2x's to low 1.3x's. Not an easy task

Matt Walter (thirdgenbum) has done it with a stick shift and a 370" LQ4.

That's impressive! Especially since added an extra 100lbs up front with the iron block. Invite him in this thread if you speak to him

Stock stroke none the less. I think I'd rather have the 100lbs off the front than the few more cubic inches. Although you can get a better head on that 4+ bore
